We monitor usage to consider the effectiveness of the site.

We are an educational digital humanities project, whose site aims to provide scholars, students, and the public with access to our educational content.

We use a secure server with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and operate as a secure site (https).

DO WE USE COOKIES?

CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Consent and User Agreement Terms

By using our site, you consent to our online privacy policy. This site Gospelmaterialities.com and all content of the Gospel Materialities Working Group and Digital Humanities Project is strictly for educational and not-for-profit use.

The terms set out in this User Agreement apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If this User Agreement terms are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms. Any new features or tools or content which are added to the current site shall also be subject to the User Agreement.

Use of materials on this site that are held under copyright from other sources should be properly attributed to the creators of content and the appropriate license holders. Gospel materialities makes all effort to properly cite and identify music, video, or images on our site that are used under educational fair use laws or at the permission of individual rights holders, corporations, or collaborating institutions. This material belongs to the identified individual, corporation, or institution and Gospel Materialities is unable to issue permissions for use or reuse.  Please contact the individual, corporation, or holding institution to secure permissions for reuse.

SEVERABILITY

In the event that any provision of this User Agreement is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from the User Agreement, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These User Agreement are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these User Agreement at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these User Agreement, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our services (or any part thereof).
